Challenges

Well I know it's been a long time since I posted anything on here but again it's been very busy the last 5 or 6 months.  At the moment we just closed a project in the Brightwood section of Washington, DC.  Just completed the floor framing on a project in the Brookland section of Washington, DC and we're back working on a basement underpinning job since receiving the permit back in the spring.  The last two jobs are very challenging and they keep my mind working.  That's what I love about the remodeling business.  It challenges me basically everyday.  I don't like doing the same thing over and over again, so when we get an addition that's one of a kind or a screen porch that's one of a kind or a basement that's one of a kind.  I get real excited knowing what the finished product will look like.  I am though a little disappointed right now because we lost a contract.  Just received an email today with the news.  I thought we were sure to land this project.  It would have been a beautiful job.  Oh well!, You win some and you loose some.  On to the next project.
