I was a groomsman in one of my best friends wedding this past Saturday. While I was standing during the ceremony I looked up at the ceiling of the church and was reminded of the craftsmanship that went into building this church and other churches in that era. It's amazing that the carpenters back then weren't using power tools but using the power of their body to perform the tasks. That's why carpenters and laborers in that era had big biceps and forearms. They were true to their craft. It's a beautiful thing to look at and admire the history of architecture of a church.
