I've been in business for over 26 years, and one thing is definitely true, is that you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time. That's a true statement. I guess I've done something right in order to be around for all of those years, but sometimes mistakes are made. I'm not perfect, just like any other human. I make mistakes, but in this business, mistakes can be costly and severe. I think through the 26 years in business, I've made three mistakes. Now that's not bad for 26 years a person may say, but depending on what the mistake was. Estimating a project can make or break you. One mistake on that, and you loose not only money, but it throws the entire company off, and it's a trickling affect, and it takes time to regroup and get back on track. Things happen in life, and you live and learn, but it's how you react, and bounce back, that makes a person, and company stronger. Another lesson in Business 101.
